We went for the gold in therapy this week 🥇✨ • Our clinic hosted our very own Therapy Olympics and the competition was fierce (and so much fun)! From kitchen “curling” and scooter board “bobsledding” to glider “figure skating,” every event was thoughtfully designed to target strength, coordination, motor planning, body awareness, self-confidence and teamwork. Our athletes also crafted their own Olympic medals to level up fine motor skills (talk about medaling in precision 😉) and built Olympic rings with food to support sensory integration, visual-motor skills, and expanding food repertoires. We truly believe therapy should feel like play — and this week was proof that when kids are having fun, they’re already winning. It’s safe to say our therapists stuck the landing, our kiddos crushed their goals, and everyone left feeling like champions 🏆 • • All photos that include children’s faces are shared with signed waivers on file🏅 • #pedstherapy #occupationaltherapy #physicaltherapy #speechtherapy #lifeatleaf
